Fight Cancer and many other disease

Got this Amazing post on FB and wanted to share it on my blog. you know why because some of it has really done wonders in my parents life. My mom is suffering joint pain and with turmeric magic she is curing. So take advantage of GOD's Gift.

5 Cancer-Fighting Spices

They’re pretty, delicious and drumroll please…they’re good for you! Yes, I’m talking about the secret our forefathers knew way back in the day. Spices have untapped health benefits and have recently been stealing the scene as powerful cancer preventatives and fighters. Below are five you might want to consider adding to your diet.

1. Garlic
No surprise here. The stinking rose is one of the most potent weapons in preventing cancer, particularly colon cancer. Containing the photochemical allicin, garlic stimulates the production of cancer-fighting enzymes. Daily garlic consumption can lower total cholesterol and triglyceride levels by 10 percent and has the added benefit of keeping vampires at bay.

2. Ginger
For centuries, grandma has been prescribing this knobby little root for an upset tummy but we now know that it holds anti-inflammatory properties, shows promise in treating cancer, osteoarthritis and, when used topically, rheumatoid arthritis. It can be used as an appetite stimulant, and a treatment for nausea, whether legit (flu) or not-so-legit (hangover).

3. Cinnamon
Besides being a yummy addition to coffee, cinnamon protects against Type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Derived from tree bark, this wonderful spice stimulates the bodies circulatory systems. Just half a teaspoon taken daily lowers blood glucose, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels. It also counteracts congestion, may be useful treating osteoarthritis and improves blood circulation.

4. Turmeric
Who can resist the gorgeous yellow color of this cancer-fighting spice? Lately turmeric has been the darling of the spice world as researchers have discovered that, not only does it fight cancer, but contains an entire spectrum of other health benefits, including inflammation-fighting compounds called curcuminoids. These compounds may help prevent Alzheimer’s, arthritis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. When used topically turmeric has been known to help heal skin infections.

5. Cayenne Pepper
Arriba! Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin, yet another cancer preventative. When used in mass it can cause heartburn but a little sprinkled onto everyday foods should be enough for you to see the benefits. Cayenne peppers are full of beta carotene, other antioxidants and immune boosters and helps to build healthy mucous membranes tissues – our first level of defense against bacteria and viruses.

Tips to Tackle Sun Burn....!!!

I was wondering how my Tanned skin be lightened. Summer of Delhi can give tension to the most fair lady also. It took me hours to search online the remedy. And then I came up to a page which gave wonderful ways of making skin fairer and glowing. Some of the tips given below. Work on it and comment about the results.

1. The uneven edges of oatmeal make it a gentle exfoliant, ideal for sloughing off dead cells to reveal the bright skin underneath. Combine 2 tablespoons of uncooked and unflavored oatmeal with 1 cup of whole milk in a small pot, heating them until a thick mixture forms. The lactic acid in milk will also remove dead skin cells. Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil for moisture. Wait until the mixture is warm but not hot then apply to your clean, dry face. Wash off the mask with warm water after 20 to 30 minutes.

2. Combine 2 teaspoons of pureed pumpkin with 1/2 teaspoon of honey and 1/4 teaspoon of heavy whipping cream. Mix all of the ingredients until they make a thick paste, then apply to clean, dry skin. Leave on 10 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. The vitamin A in the pumpkin has healing properties and promotes tissue repair, which irritated skin will love!

3. The enzymes in papaya make it a natural exfoliant that fights free radicals, so say goodbye to dullness with this facial. Peel and remove the seeds of one papaya, then chop it into small pieces. Add 1/4 cup of honey for a natural cleanser. Using a blender or food processer, mix the ingredients until a paste is formed. Apply the paste to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes then splash off with warm water. Wash thoroughly, or the papaya juice could make your face look orange!

4. Mash a peeled banana until it turns into a paste, then mix in 2 tablespoons of honey for an extra skin cleanser. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit of water. Apply the paste to clean and dry skin, letting it sit for 10 to 20 minutes. Indulge in that banana treat as you wait, then wash the mask off with warm water. Your skin will feel soft and refreshed!

5. The fatty oils in avocado are great for moisturizing dry skin. Mash up half an avocado until creamy. Add 1 tablespoon of honey, a cleaning agent, to the mix. If your skin is irritated, add a bit of plain yogurt for a soothing effect. If your skin is cryin’ for extra moisture, add 1/4 cup of pure virgin olive oil. Once all ingredients are well combined, apply the mixture onto your clean face and neck. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. For added relaxation, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mixture before applying.

6. The salicylic acid in aspirin is a great acne-fighter. Crush four uncoated aspirin pills into a powder using the back of a spoon. Add water to create a paste. If you prefer a thicker mask, add a bit of honey. Stir the ingredients then apply the paste to your clean, dry face, making sure to avoid your eyes and your nostrils. Leave on for 10 minutes, then wash off and enjoy the clean feeling!

7. Egg whites tighten the pores and contain proteins that both repair skin and absorb excess oil, making them a powerful tool for dealing with acne. Separate the egg white from the yolk (save the yolk for cooking!). Whisk together the egg white with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for one minute. The mixture will be messy, so apply it to your clean, dry face over a sink. Keep the mask on for 10 to 15 minutes — start whipping up your favorite dessert with that egg yolk while you wait! Once the mask starts cracking, wash away with warm water.

Enjoy smooth , fresh , glowing skin….

My experience with Delhi Metro....

Last year  I came to Delhi from Mumbai to live with my parents......my parent had shifted to Delhi years back while i was studying in Mumbai….....i did my graduation in Mumbai and it was  familiar to me but this new metro city was a going to be a new experiences  .

After coming here the 1st thing that was on my mind was a good job... I made my resumes and uploaded it online on all job portals....within some days I started getting calls from companies.....Just after 3 weeks I planned to visit some of the firm and scheduled my appointment with them........

On the appointed day I got ready early in the morning and requested my dad to drop me to the interview spot …but on the same day he had an important meeting with his client so he suggested me to take metro.. As metro is the safest transport mode in Delhi so was not worried at all… he dropped me to the metro station…

1st time I saw a beautiful huge structure with trains hanging in the air, I mean they run on the high rail bridges ...I didn’t knew how to board..... I was very angry on my Dad how can he leave me alone with this thing....then realized that I have to fight with it daily so it’s important for me to get little more smart......I  went to the counter and told the counter man about my destination station he asked me to buy the ticket.... I asked him where should I go to buy it... he simply pointed the finger at a place where many people were standing in a Queue...I also stood there when my turn came which was pretty faster he asked me what I want and I said ticket..... He said “you mean token”,  I told him that  “I want to go to Barahkhamba can I know how can I reach there”... he asked me do I have pass or do I want a token ...I said I want a cheaper ticket.. he made a pass for me and took the required information from me... And he charged me two hundred rupee you can see how cheap it is.... with that blue pass I came out of the Queue and was stunned to see that this is just the beginning there is more steps to go.... I went back and said “sorry to disturb you can I know how to use it”... he pointed me to the same counter from where I came towards him... I shook my head in distress and went straight to the man in the counter and told him that I am new and I don’t know how to use this so kindly help”.... and then he began “this is pass and the minimum refill is Rs 100 so now when you have made your card you can travel anywhere and can punch on the entry and exit machine any number of time you want .you will not need to stand in queue for checking. there at the entry you keep your luggage on the scanning machine and then enter the ladies checking door and then punch your card on the entry machine door....then board the train. When you reach the destination exit by punching the card again on the machine door.

I nodded my head and went to the scanning machine and then through the check-in door where a lady police constable checks you to confirm that you are not carrying any dangerous or suspicious object with you.....then I collected my luggage and went to the entry door which was automatically operated... I took the card and punched it on the screen and the panels opened I went through it and the panels closed....." Wow.....what a mechanism I have never went through it before ... my country is progressing.... good engineering...oh... then I went to see that there was two side and on each side there was an escalator and a staircase... and  a sign board with the names written on it....it confused me .I was fumbling around to find what to do now.... which way to go... I asked a man who was passing by me .." excuse me can you please help me which side I should go to board the train .... I have to go to barahkhamba... he asked me to go to my right side and take the train... I went up and within a minutes the train arrived I entered in to it....Oh My god...what a Train.... just at that very instant the whole Mumbai local train view came in front of my eyes .... Damn it’s so different what a train with a.c and so good chairs and all surrounded with glass window... and on the whole it’s like a total on air view of whole Delhi.., you can see the whole town through the Metro train... through the windows you can see all the view from where the train crosses..... I was very excited and was expecting to see the whole Delhi which is one of the most beautiful place in India...... I had no map of the metro ... so I didn’t knew when will my station come so to make sure that I know when I need to get down I asked a lady sitting just by my side ... "excuse me madam, can you tell me when will barahkhamba come...she told me that it will take one hours to reach ".  how will I know..." she said either by this announcements or otherwise you can see the map on the top of the door of the train whenever the station crosses the red light glow so you can locate by that ." . wow u mean to say there is a place locater in the train.....what a modern train it is…..There such a big difference between Mumbai and Delhi Public transportation. And then started my trip to brahakhamba on Delhi metro…. I was looking forward to enjoy every bit of the journey……step by step all metro station came and I turned my head towards the window to see the outer scenery . slowly steadily many station passed and with that the people in the train also increased…. The ladies compartment was so full that many ladies where standing… again the same thing….seats were less and passenger were more. then one thing attracted my attention ….one young lady gave her seat to an old lady and that too without complaining or any request.. this is one of the good thing in Delhi here people are more sensible and they show respect to old peoples and physically handicapped etc… they automatically give their hard earned seats to them and the travel throughout standing…we crossed many stations and I was watching real Delhi from the top .

Then came Rajiv chowk. It was just like our dadar or any of the western line station…a huge amount of crowd got down then a same amount of people got in…so there was no change in space and people ratio…that was an underground station… not only air but under the ground also Delhi metro runs… king of Aakash ,Dharti and patal….

The aunty next to me poked me and said “ the next station is yours.” I asked her “where shall you be getting down…” she said noida ….In 3 mins my stations announcement happened and I got up to leave …check your luggage is one of the important thing before u leave….there was not so much of crowd in Barahkhamba and I went off the metro…..there again I was looking here and there to exit the metro station..then I asked some mans on their duty which side should I exit… after a long directional conversation about the exit door I finally punched my card on the exit door and came out of metro station….Barahkhamba is a big , beautiful and completely corporate habitat….. I liked it ….now my only aim was to clear the interview…once again after inquiring lots of people I came to locate my interview location… where already the interview started….

I loved my 1st journey in the metro of Delhi . some of its things that  amazed me was the use of high end technology. Everything was so perfectly controlled and monitored…this simply makes me sure that my country is not interested in making the country technically strong..otherwise this metro shall be in every city …the government can do things in perfection but they don’t do it….

How to be Happy....!!!

Last evening i was surfing my net and then one of my very emotional and old friend called me up....i like this girl a lot because of her dedication to complete anything that she takes in hand.....she called me and then we exchanged casual talks about how we are , whats going on in our life etc etc... withing 10 mins our conversation seemed to be blank...now there was nothing between us to share.. may be there was a lot of thing but we could not share it ....as we both stay very far from each other and we can hardly know what she may take my words as....

Then it went very boring just 10 mins before i saw her call and i was very excited and now after 10 mins its over ...what was it....

while we both where quite on both the ends of the phone... she suddenly started her old topic...." su.. i am not happy .. i wanna kill myself... i want to go some place where i am alone ... blah blah blah.... she chanted these words for almost 1 hr....."

let me tell you these words are from a girl who is studying in one of the best medical colleges of India....if people like her says like these things then what shall we people do...

Actually then she related me to her problem why she is unhappy.... she is attracted towards a boy in her class and she want to befriend him ... she is alone sometimes and she wants to talk to him... but the climax of the scene is.....he is not so interested and they hardly talks ... she longs to be close to him and it hardly matters to him...

Thus because of this big reason she is sad and wants to leave everything and go somewhere....i don't know what this is called may be this is love or may be this is lack of connectivity with other good things in her life which makes her turn back to him and the hollowness...

But  i knew only one thing that We all humans should not make these silly things a reasons for our sadness....life is so long and with so many ups and downs and who knows which moment of life shall be the most saddest part of life.... just imagine when we will be on our death bed , we can recall all that happened in our life and then do u think that at that time we shall be able to say that 'that moment was the saddest moment of our life' and 'that was the happiest' ... we shall be more worried of the things that shall come ahead..even on the dead bed we shall be looking forwards in life....

I never say "ki jindgi ko hash kar bitao... rather i would say jindagi ko samjh kar bitao"...if a person is lazy and yet he has big dreams then one day he will be guilty and he will be sad... if a person if hardworking and he hardly dreams he shall be again sad and will be guilty .. thus samjhso ki tum kya kar sakte ho aur kya karna chate ho...( understand your capability, strength and then see dreams..).. i am sure with this clarity you shall never be unhappy....

An ugly girl can never say that i want to be the most beautiful actress ... rather she should say i wanna be the best actress... i may not look good but i will giving my best shot every time.... and i am sure she will never be unhappy... she made her goal appropriate and then she was capable enough to achieve it ....

Many people are unhappy or sad because they don't speak their mind or iether they dont understand their mind...they hate someone but they will never make that person realize it...when a person loves someone they might be quiet and will say nothing....then we feel we are sad .... arrey baba..... if you have never made an effort and never saw a failure then how can you be sad.....

supposes a man is crying and is very sad that his wife is dead ... he heard that on phone that she met with an accident and she is dead ..... he is crying and is very very sad ......just 10 mins later the door opens and his wife says him hello.... and says that one of my friend was bullying you.... the expression on his face , mind and heart will change within a second....Ab.... he is no more sad and he is very very happy.... just within 10mins the things changed so drastically....it like a joke....it depend on you what u wanna experience...

Sadness , happiness, suicide, etc is now a days a joke for almost all people....bina kuch kiye.  " mae marjana chata hu/ chahti hu...."

pehel kuch karo phir u will urself realize that life is so vast with so many opportunities that there is no need to even say that i am sad.....and if anyone is doing something many time yet no success then for sure u are doing it wrong... change the method of doing and see the success......

" At the end there is nothing about sadness and happiness......its all about what you order to the life.....and that what you are delivered with...."
